Pilot project for North Karelian food and beverage export to Japan
This pilot project aims to find networks and distribution contact for food and beverage producers in North Karelia who are interested in exporting to Japan.
This pilot project prepares the start of the export of North Karelian premium food and beverage products, to Japan. Food and beverage companies interested in exporting will be provided export process information of the Japanese food market, potential importers, distribution channels and the possibilities of placing products in premium, gift or other special categories, as well as the related packaging requirements.
In addition, the project maps out the best trade fairs or events to start exporting, and visits the Foodex trade fair in connection with a networking trip to Japan.
This project is funded by Regional Council of North Karelia, AKKE fund.
